I would like to secure a position with a quality company, a company that will
utilize and challenge my background. A company that will expand my knowledge of
computer systems, security and networking.
Professionally, I have been involved with computers for over fifteen years. I started as a service technician for a retail computer store. In the past years, I have been involved in many projects that have provided excellent experience. I have been a part of two conversion teams. Migrating users and data from Macintosh to PC computers. I have been a member of three different teams to configure, test, and create common software loads for computer systems being deployed throughout organizations. During the next phase, I was second level support performing on-site break-fix repair of end users systems. This included troubleshooting and diagnosing the computer problems, replacing hardware, adjusting settings related to applications or the operating system. I have consulted with Microsoft, Apple, and other proprietary organizations, when needed, to resolve these issues. For the past year and a half, I have been in the roll of Chief Operations Officer. Along with these duties, I also assumed the service manager role of the technical service department. My current daily responsibilities include administration of the following areas. Departmental budget, policies and procedures, meeting SLAs and utilization goals and metrics. I am currently certified as a VCP 4 and have also held the following industry certifications: CCNA, MCP, MCT and A+ technician. I have been to training on VMWare, HP and IBM storage networks, Cisco Networks, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Administration, and project management. I have taught continuing education classes in computer related fields. Computer Concepts, Windows OS', Microsoft Word and using the Internet. |
